In an official communique released by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Amman, government officials sharply criticized recurrent strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, emergency medical networks, and healthcare facilities throughout the coastal enclave. The ministry highlighted that the continued loss of non-combatant lives—particularly among innocent women and children—underscores an urgent need for enforcing strict adherence to established international legal frameworks and humanitarian protocols governing armed conflicts.
Addressing national media channels, Foreign Ministry official spokesperson Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali declared that persistent operational incursions and artillery strikes against vital medical centers constitute flagrant breaches of international law and international humanitarian law. Ambassador Al-Majali emphasized that the international community must immediately step forward to halt military aggression, ensure the total protection of civilian populations, and safeguard frontline medical staff and humanitarian personnel working under high-risk conditions across Gaza. He added that diplomatic channels must guarantee the continuous, unrestricted, and sustainable movement of essential humanitarian aid packages, medical equipment, and relief supplies through every border crossing to alleviate widespread suffering among displaced families.
The diplomatic endorsement aligns Amman directly with the tripartite statement issued earlier by Ankara, Doha, and Cairo, which serves as the primary mediating bloc overseeing multi-stage ceasefire negotiations. The three mediator nations previously warned that ongoing military escalations jeopardize the delicate transition toward the second phase of the agreed peace roadmap. According to the mediating governments, Palestinian factions including Hamas had formally communicated their acceptance of the transitional framework—which includes detailed mechanisms concerning the confinement and management of heavy weapons—making continued unilateral strikes an unnecessary obstacle that undermines mutual confidence and threatens the entire stability architecture.
