Donald Trump in Hillary Clinton ad: 'I'd look her right in that fat ugly face of hers'

Ladies, Donald Trump might be hating you.

In fact he doesn't just hate you, but he hates your sex and everything you stand for.

That is the line being pumped out to half the US population by Hillary Clinton as part of a hard-hitting ad against Trump in the lead up to the first presidential election debate tomorrow.

The 30 second advert called Mirrors begins with the Democratic nominee hugging a girl, before cutting to footage of young women looking at themselves in the mirror.

Several of Trump's most outrageous comments are then overlaid on top including a 2006 take-down to US comedian Rosie O'Donnell.

"I'd look her right in that fat ugly face of hers," Trump said.

It also includes the Trump line of: "Does she have a good body, no, does she have a fat ass, absolutely".Other lines include: "She's a slob. She ate like a pig and "A person who is flat-chested is very hard to be a 10."

The ad created a storm of controversy on social media over the weekend with many citing it as proof of Trump's misogyny.

The latest advert is just part of the staggering $180 million war chest spent between mid June and last week on TV and radio adverts by the Clinton camp.

Kantar Media's political ad tracker also shows Trump and his supporters spent about $40 million in the same time period according to Associated Press.

The latest Clinton ad comes at a time when Trump himself has been pushing to snare some of the female vote away from his rival.

Just days ago, Trump's daughter Ivanka unveiled her father's childcare and maternity leave policy.

Offering new mothers six weeks of paid maternity leave Ivanka attempted to close the "gender gap" by portraying her father as progressive when it came to women's issues.

She also said the Trump Organisation offers all its employees paid maternity leave, however this was later proven to be untrue.

Clinton released a policy a year ago and has been a vocal advocate for women and girls.
Meanwhile Trump himself promised to do more for women than his rival ever would.

"My opponent likes to say that for decades she's been fighting for women, that she's been fighting for children. Why, then, are 70 million American women and children living in poverty or on the brink of poverty in our country?," he asked a rally crowd in Roanoke on Saturday.

"For years she's been doing this and she's done nothing."

But Trump wasn't doing himself any huge favours in the women's vote area after threatening on Twitter to invite a former Bill Clinton flame to the debate.

Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said it was meant to show the New York billionaire had ways "to get inside the head of Hillary Clinton" but she told CNN there were no plans to invite Ms Flowers.
